The effect of the entry ban is that humans who are persecuted in their birth countries are unable to flee to the U.S.
The Statue of Liberty has stood as a landmark since the late 19th century as a welcoming symbol to immigrants arriving in U.S.A.
As a Norwegian citizen I visited the United States in 2014 and 2015 and saw the symbol. In 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 I have chosen to not visit U.S.A., because of the Trump administration.
